My theory of "batches of invite are sent out based on interviewers' schedule", is that each interviewers are assigned a certain amount of interviews, that during a period of time they can only interview 1/3 or 1/2 of their assigned interviews, hence the batches. I would assume some of the non-Boston interviews will have to work around with local Alums' schedule as well. Alums are not full time admin people, but full time workers with busy business schedule.

To the best of my knowledge, Sloan doesn't do Alum interviews.

I assumed that every round of invites had different interview dates ... is that not the case?

Well, those dates are specifically for interviewing in India. And yes, you are correct; the interview dates tend to vary around the world and depends upon the schedule of the Adcoms travelling.

Hey all - I was super excited and fortunate to receive an interview invite on Monday.

Forgive the crazy question, but due to my current work situation, I can't interview in Cambridge until early December (the last 3-5 days of interviews). I know decisions come out Dec 19. Is there any strategy to interview date? Since it's not rolling, I can't imagine there would be, but it feels uncomfortable to be one of the last to interview.
