If you consider the fact that two waves have gone out and the interview is on 20th/21st, then yes, you shouldn't be hopeful. You can hope for a wait list, else, the inevitable is happening on 5th.

How do we know that the interviews are on the 20/21st?

I assumed that every round of invites had different interview dates ... is that not the case?

Anyone have any stats on how many people are put on the waitlist? trying to stay hopeful!

Well, those dates are specifically for interviewing in India. And yes, you are correct; the interview dates tend to vary around the world and depends upon the schedule of the Adcoms travelling.

From my understanding, waitlists are out today with final decisions, but that's my only hope for today :(

Hey all - I was super excited and fortunate to receive an interview invite on Monday.

Forgive the crazy question, but due to my current work situation, I can't interview in Cambridge until early December (the last 3-5 days of interviews). I know decisions come out Dec 19. Is there any strategy to interview date? Since it's not rolling, I can't imagine there would be, but it feels uncomfortable to be one of the last to interview. :?
