Good luck to anyone waiting to hear back on R3 results tomorrow! I'm so nervous, but excited to finally know either way. Anyone else waiting to hear back?
R2 waitlisted candidate here, just got an email notifying me that I was taken off the waitlist and denied. Hope this data point helps anyone else out there. Best of luck!

Those in North America who are admitted to the Sloan MBA in Round 3 will typically find out through a phone call. The phone calls start around 12pm EST.
Those abroad typically don't receive a phone call and instead find out when the application portal is updated with all admission details, sometime between 3 and 5pm EST.
R3 candidate here. Interviewed a few weeks ago. Just got an early email saying that my application decision had been updated. I checked the portal and I was waitlisted. Disappointed but I know it's been a very competitive year and applying R3 was always a long shot. Fingers crossed for everyone else!

Hi All, I’m writing to ask you all - if you took a consultant’s help while prepping your application and do you have any recommendations for someone who could help applicants having low Undergraduate GPA.
Hi Everyone, needed your valuable input. What are the kind of questions asked in the interview round ? are they technical questions or general questions. If you could share your stories or example of questions asked. I am planning to apply for 2022 intake so your help would mean a lot. Thank you !!
surbhi242, GPA is an important datapoint to determine academic aptitude, however it’s not the only datapoint. Check out this blog article regarding overcoming low GPAs - https://www.stratusadmissionscounseling ... or-an-mba/
Does MIT provide loan to international students without a co signor?
It looks like they may. They are a bit cryptic about it:
Quote:
For all students (U.S. Citizens/Permanent Resident and International Students), the next step is to submit the Graduate Loan Application.
Once this information is received, MIT Student Financial Services will determine your loan eligibility and issue a financial aid award letter. Domestic students or International Students with a domestic co-signer have an array of loan options, including federal subsidized and unsubsidized loans. Options for International Students with no cosigner are more limited, but there are a few options for students in this situation. Please contact Sloan Student Funding at studentfunding.mitsloan@mit.edu with any questions.
