Application numbers are highest from China followed by India is what I was told. Maybe they're holding onto that slice of the pie

Hello Are the classes for 21 Batch going to be online for MIT Sloan ?

Huh! Surprising. China of all the places. They are the second largest GMAT market after the US but the majority of the GMAT test takers in China are: a) college students b) women Business schools look to keep a certain mix of the verses in the class profile so influx of applications from a particular geographic location should not really influence opportunities for other applicants from other locations.... in other words, there are only so many spots for Chinese applicants.... so maybe this is a move to attract US applicants? PS. China test centers should all be open now. Posted from my mobile device

Hi fellow GMATClub members, I recently submitted my application for the Sloan MBA program - Round 1. While on the portal it says submitted, I never received any confirmation email (whereas I have received it from other schools I have applied to). I am just wondering if this is the same for everyone? I took calculus in high school but I'm not sure what to write for the relevant coursework section on the MIT app? 1) Name of course 2) Name of institution 3) Course Number 4) Course level 5) Grade Are the fields they are looking for. On my transcript it only says the name of the course AP: Mathematics - Calculus AB . I am not sure what to write for the other fields. Should I include that I took Calculus at all?

Has anyone received an interview invite?

The mail from Sloan mentioned that interview decisions will be sent out by the end of October. If last year’s dates are anything to go by, we should probably wait till Oct 30 for the decision. Although some decisions were sent out on Oct 23 last year, most received it on the 30th.
