Congrats on interviews! Don't be too stressed out. IMO, my favorite MBA interview last year was MIT's. They only ask behavioral (their BEI) questions based on your experiences so you technically know all the answers. :)

MIT had an option to submit application without GMAT score. That is a better alternative than submitting an application with a bad GMAT [#permalink]

I don't see any latest MIT Sloan interview experiences listed in the interview debriefs sections. Those who are already interviewed, can you please add your interview experience in the following link? https://gmatclub.com/forum/sloan-185/in ... brief.html

Thanks :)

Hey does anyone know much about the pre interview waitlist? I was waitlisted and am very confused, didn't even realize MIT kept a pre interview waitlist. Not sure if this is something new for this year?

Same question as above ^. What I understand is that waitlist pre-interview just means your application rolls over to R2.

Hello,

I just had my MIT sloan interview. From what i gather it was very atypical. Firstly it was very short, only 15-16 mins and then i added on 3 mins by asking questions.

I did not get any follow up questions nor was i asked about my professional career. i had 2 behavioral questions and was asked how i would pitch a business case in 30 seconds around my visualization. - No follow up questions either.

Wonder if anyone has had this experience? MIT Sloan is the school that i'm targeting so pretty bummed. My guess is that their decision was made one way or the other.

Ah wells. Going to be long wait till the 16th.

Guys I have a question. As I got 680 (Q49,V34,IR8) in GMAT, I am considering whether I should submit my score along my application or refrain of doing that since Sloan offers the possibility to do so (blame it on Covid). Looking forward to hear from you!

Some infos about me: I come from a rather "rare" country, have an engineering master's degree from a top european university, have a strong international experience and work in a Fortune 500 company.

Hi Magicien99 - since Sloan has made it clear that they are not requiring scores this year, nor holding it against candidates who do not submit a score, I do think it makes sense in your case not to submit your score to them, given it is so far below their average. How was your GPA? And how were your grades in your Masters program? Hopefully those would provide evidence that you are able to meet Sloan's high academic requirements.
