Hey Everyone.
Really great to see that a forum for NUS is active & helpful.

Have a a doubt:
- Do we need to give a IELTS/TOEFL score in the application as well ? ( I have done my Masters from an Indian University & all the mediums of instructions have been english )

I found the following from the supporting documents section.

Quote:
A copy of your IELTS/TOEFL report (if the medium of instructions for your undergraduate studies was not in English)

It looks like you don't need to take TOEFL/IELTS but if I were you, I would check with the admission committee by writing to mba@nus.edu.sg

GoodGuy

I am not sure if other applicants are aware of the referee questions. It was specified in the website that only recommenders will have access to the referee forms. Unless a recommender informs the questions to the applicant, an applicant has no way of knowing the questions.

I advise you to ask your recommender to fill out the form soon as it is mentioned that the online referee form will only be valid only for two weeks after an applicant initiates to send out.

Hi kalyani2095
As a matter of thumbrule, resumes should aptly be of 1 page length.

As a thumb rule

Hi everyone!

I got the below mail from NUS:

"Greetings from the NUS MBA Office!
We have received your application for the 2018 intake NUS MBA programme.
Just to share with you that our average GMAT score for the 2018 full–time cohort was 669.
A good GMAT score is one of the admissions criteria and it is aneffective predictor of the applicant’s success in the MBA. It gives us an indication of your ability to handle the rigorous MBA programme.
To help make your application more competitive, may I check if you intend to retake your GMAT or do you wish for us to review your application with your current GMAT score?

Please be advised that your application will not be reviewed until we hear from you."

Has anyone received a mail like this? Any information on this will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Does anyone have any idea about placements in finance investment banking especially, for NUS MBA grads. Any link in the direction would be helpful.
Thanks

Hey, could you share the date on which you submitted your application? I submitted mine on Oct 16, and haven't heard anything yet. Thanks!

Hi, I submitted it somewhere between 23rd and 26th oct. I don't really remember with so many applications. One usually hears from nus adcom regarding interviews within a month. But u can hear later as well in case some application materials such as recommendations are not submitted yet or if they need further analysis on ur application. There is no hard and fast rule. Best of luck.

Hi everyone!

I just found out from my referee that there are a few questions that need to be answered and that there is also a document that needs to be uploaded which I assume is the letter of recommendation.

The people who have submitted their applications, request your help to let me know whether is it like an either-or kind of thing or do both need to be submitted?
