Hi everyone!

I haven’t received any information regarding an interview but when I logged in to check my status, it says “Waitlist”. Any idea what that means?

Posted from my mobile device

Hi Pallavi,

I am experiencing the same.
Today the application status changed to "waitlist", but I have not been sent any interview invite or any other email communication for that matter.
Did you get a chance to interview with NUS ultimately?

Hi mbapplicant2019 and pallaviy28,

I spoke with one of the current students and he told me that there are chances of being waitlisted without being interviewed.
As the number of Indian applicants is more.

Thanks for the info Chethan92 ! Any idea what the chances are of being accepted? mbapplicant2019 No, I haven't yet received an interview call but I've written to the admissions team asking for more details on that. I haven't heard back yet. Have you tried writing to them?

Chethan92 ... does that mean we have been wait listed for the interview?

pallaviy28, I don't have any idea regarding the chances. Maybe wait till R1 is finished.

Hi Guys,
Today my application got waitlisted without any interview as well. Did anyone hear back from the Adcom regarding this? Or are we sure we have been waitlisted for an interview? I applied on 13th January.

It is a WL for interview, we will now be considered post round 2 (or during round 2 at best) when NUS would've filled in most of its seats. For now- they have evaluated our profile and decided not to interview. Another scenario maybe when people back-out from NUS after getting a better option somewhere else, we might be considered.
So I'd say chances are bleak but they are there.

Hi all,

I had my preliminary interview round today, only went for ~12 mins. How long should it take to hear back for next round?

Your scores should reach NUS to consider your application complete. So, you should submit your official score.

You can get waiver, if your medium of instruction was English in undergrad
