Any idea on what the chances of being interviewed are for wait listed candidates? If it is a decent number, I might contemplate giving my GMAT again...

I applied during Round 2 btw, just a couple of hours before the deadline.

A friend of mine at Stern told me that the Ad Com has started reviewing the R3 applications and we may begin hearing from them before mid-Feb.

I applied R1 and my application never changed to "under review." I wouldn't give too much weight to those status changes.
