I guess those who already have a visa will travel . I think there is a section in the stern app that asks you if you have a US visa. So if you have one they may expect you to travel .. else I think they would be ok to wait for March .

Is it? Either ways if someone doesn’t have a visa, it shouldn’t be an issue. Getting one is quite easy. I am surprise though that nobody has come forward on their travel plans. Could be a reporting bias or people are simply planning to do it in India in March.

My feelings about it and I don't own any insight . Was just looking at old threads .

Reporting bias is strong .. I think people feel they are competing on timelines in rolling admissions. I thought March will be R2-R3

Although I now feel people who interview later have better chance of getting in as they would have better idea of the pooling . And it won't be their first interview . So more actual practice. They won't loose their invite as such. And there is a reason stern interviews so late . Though I can't figure what. And Those were my assumptions.

B schools shut down in December .. there are no class visits etc.. don't know if admissions enjoys working then .

any one know how long the lag between this & a decision rendered?

I got an acceptance letter yesterday. It took exactly 2 months and 1 day from the day when I applied to the day when I received the decision. I think my application was “under review” for over 2 weeks.

Martyna - how long after your interview did you hear back with the final decision? Their website sites up to 3 weeks. Can you confirm yours took less than 3 weeks from the day you interviewed?

It was exactly 3 weeks for me

Hey everyone,

Just saw a lot of posts about lack of time for visa preps till interview date.
My suggestion would be to drop an email to them explaining the complete situation. They will easily provide a later interview date for you. I too faced a similar situation earlier.

Hi,

Is there anyone here who hasn't submitted their official GMAT/GRE scores yet? I thought I would submit my official score if I get an interview invite. But now I am worried if not submitting the official scores impacts interview invites as well.

Does anyone know if acceptances will be released on January 1 or if its 3 weeks after you interview? Their initial notification deadline is January 1, but on their notification and process page it says:

After the interview, it will typically take up to three weeks to receive a post-interview decision. There are three possible post-interview decisions:
Offer of admission
Waitlist offer
Denial of admission

Had mine today, very specific to my application, goals, background, etc. Super conversational though. One thing to note was I actually had two adcom members in the room, albeit they stated one was there to evaluate the other member, but he did ask questions and did provide feedback to questions, so take that how you want.
