Any r3 applicants who have heard back? I have applied in the last week of December and no news yet. However quite a few of others have heard back.

They said their process is basically random. Applying early doesn’t guarantee hearing back first b/c each application is at the mercy of who is assigned to read it. My understanding is if you get someone who drags their feet, it could take a while.

Thank you! I submitted like on 1/4 but I know Consortium sent out all the applications to the school after the consortium deadline. I was notified by Stern on 1/11 they converted my consortium application to their system.

Don’t read into the timing for Stern, I spoke with someone from admissions and the way they pass apps through multiple reviewers means that if you’re waiting a long time, it might just mean that your last reviewer hasn’t gotten to it yet. I got in in R1 with a good scholarship offer even though I got my interview towards the end of the R1 invite cycle.
