level of proficiency in English must be demonstrated in at least one of the following three ways:

Your native language is English

Your undergraduate or graduate degree was taught in English

Your test results from either TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo English Exam I got this from confirmation email from nyu stern

I am not sure if you can easily get one other than showing economic hardship. That's what their website states

One of the most effective ways to receive an application fee waiver is by attending official webinars or information sessions hosted by the school. These sessions are often free and, in many cases, participants are provided with a unique code that can be used to waive the application fee.

Hi,
But per this waiver form

https://admissions.stern.nyu.edu/regist ... verrequest

They only provide waiver under certain headers mentioned in this form and attending an admission event isn’t one of them.
Am I missing anything here?

Hello Everyone , R1 is hardly 60 days away and the countdown begins , we are all in this together and hopefully we can motivate each other to glory on this B school journey and at the same time help this community grow and build some connections and long lasting friendships which might last beyond this application journey , with that in mind i will be happy if you all can introduce yourself and come forward ,

For starters your shy introvert admin wil try to break the ice and hopefully that will get this group buzzing,

I am Pratik from Mumbai ( Born in Pune)
I am founder of my contrsucton company for the past 3 years and had the privilege to lead as a Project Manager on few high impact public infrastructure projects like India’s first water taxi and Smart city park under GOI 100 smart city mission,

with friends all over India thanks to my various stints with different NGOs, my passion for travelling and trekking and connecting with everyone ,

i am targeting the current application cycle and i am really looking forward to help you and also learn from you all at the same time,

My hobbies include Chess , trekking , talking non stop with my besties and cousins and at the same time a shy introvert in public who prefers to spend his new years in mountains away from all the buzz parties and firecrackers,

Would have never imagined myself trying to connect with people beyond my small circle , but MBA application process has already transformed me so much and i hope you all can do the same and start building connections on this journey,

trust me connecting and talking to people will help you more than you can imagine, not just in terms of gathering information and valuable insights but also helps you keep your anxiety in check and keeps you motivated , because this whole process can feel very daunting , draining and make you feel over whelmed at times,

Applying to B schools is not just about IQ but also about EQ and with that in mind , looking forward to others to introduce themselves , so dont be shy this is your time to shine and connect and make this community wonderful and worth remembering!
