I applied on 11/15. From what I have seen, we have until the end of this week / early next week before the ding. Many people got interview invites after January 10th last year. There is still hope!

What happens if your EQ endorser does not submit their response by the application deadline? How long does Stern wait for it?

R1 Applicant here, I received my invite mid December, literally the last day before the deadline. Plenty of Dings and invitations went out before that. Its not over till its over!

R3 deadline is Jan 15th. My guess is that they'll be waiting until then to see what they have to compare the majority of R2 with. R2 applicants they like the most got the invites already so they're waiting to sort out the rest. Just my guess though!

I applied on 11/15 and haven't heard anything either. I have no idea whether it's a good sign or a bad one. It seems that they're sending out invites or WLs bit by bit and then are going to reject everybody else in one go? No clue but the wait is killing me!

I think they are sending mass invites once 1/15 passes. Maybe looking at R3 to see who else is applying?

You're probably right! I come up with a new theory every day :) Stern is my top school so I'm a big ball of impatience and anxiety.

That's odd then. Usually, do people get an email if the portal was updated even if you are rejected?

Yeah it's my top school too. I am pretty much the average Stern applicant in terms of demographics/GMAT/GPA so ..
