I have applied to round 1 and was invited to an interview. I used margins less than 1" and there was no issue. Hope this helps.
Ur GMAT score may have helped LOL
Thanks jaykim0507 ! ... I asked 2 friends outside gmatclub - 1 followed 1", 1 followed 0.4" ... not following it will make it seem we can't follow basic instructions, following it means shredding the resume content
optimusTR, as you too interviewed with Ross - did you and people known to you follow the 1" margins?

Less than 1, I don't think it's a deal breaker. G'luck w/ the application btw.
I interviewed at Tauber. I interviewed with a 3rd year (MBA/??). Informal phone interview. Standard interview questions. Why Ross/Tauber, why MBA, what do you know about Tauber, tell me about a time.....
If you prepped for your Ross interview, you should be good for this one. Tone was similar to interview on campus, professional but relaxed.
Did anyone receive instructions for how to create a login to access their admissions decision? I believe the information is supposed to be sent out today... that is, the information to create a login to find out the decision on December 18.
EDIT: looks like the email just came through a little after 5:15 PM EST!

Just got mine too. They send that to everyone?

It seems like it as I was not invited to interview but just got the email. This makes sense as well as the application portal does not have a place for displaying the final decisions. So people who will be waitlisted or denied should have some way to check the status of their applications.

Does Ross still do phone calls or we should rely solely on the online info?
Hey Guys Does anyone of you have any idea, whether Ross waitlist anyone even after not inviting for interviews. Are there any chances for that? I am an Indian applicant with 6 yrs workex
It will be undefined till 18th Dec 2015, 12 pm EST. After this date you can view your decision. All interview invites have already been sent out for round 1 which means you were not invited for an interview in round 1. You will now either be wait-listed or denied. Hope that helps.

I was interviewed two weeks ago and received this email today. My question is whether other interviewed guys received the same email or does it mean that I was dinged after the interview...

I was also interviewed and received this E-mail today. Don't worry
Sorry for the confusion. They sent this out to all applicants. For those interviewed you will see a accept, deny or wait-list. For those not interviewed you will see a waitlist or deny.

I was interviewed and got the email as well. I read posts from last year that every applicant receives such email because that's how the school will notify the results.
In the past they have called US based applicants on the Wednesday before the deadline and international applicants on the Thursday before the deadline to let them know about their admission and any merit-based scholarships. I'm assuming they will follow the same program this year.
I know that results for R1 are just around the corner, and sorry if I am breaking the flow here. I am applying for R2, and need some inputs on career goals essay. I understand that we should mention about Short-term and Long-term goals ( technically, that's what they are asking). It's good to slide in few points about why Ross MBA makes senses. But I want to understand how much focus to give on explaining if Ross is the right fit - Do I talk about things I will do at Ross, and that I have talked to many students alumni etc? Or should I simply focus on my long and short term goals ?
