Hello, has anyone received a reject mail from Rotman?
I had interviewed on the 25th of Nov and was told to expect a reply by the 5th or the week after that. I haven't heard anything yet - and I see quite a few people on this forum have been admitted during that time - so I'm sort of on edge.

Deadline for round 1 is this friday i.e. the 18th. Hopefully you should hear back by then.

Hi,

I'm currently completing my MBA application for Rotman and I'm working on the video interview.

Could anyone provide any insights on the questions asked? I'm aware of the format, but any examples you could share would be helpful.

Also, does this component hold a lot of weightage in relation to the admission decision?

Question in Video interview are basically behavioural type and email is quite usual email that you must have written in your daily job. I took my video interview this Saturday. Based on my experience from that interview, i can confidently say that One just need to get comfortable with platform, dress well, Be confident, Come with good mood and keep smiling. Most importantly answer naturally, since everyone knows that one need to prepare in just 30 sec and record in 90 secs. So frame your response and deliver your best.

Hi Guys

I am writing my GMAT on Dec 29. I dont know where i will end up. This is a brief on my profile. I am 28 Yrs Old. I have about 6.5 Yrs experience in Investment Management. I have worked in India and Japan. I am a Hedge Fund Manager. I recently sold my Hedge Fund to a Japanese Firm. I am also on the board of NGO and few other companies. I have undergrad degree in business with a pretty good gpa. I obviously want to get good gmat score. In case i end up with an average or an ok score, should i still end up applying. will my profile have more weightage over gmat. looking to hear from rotmanites

Hi

I have done my engineering in India. ( not in IIT or NIT)
I have a 70% over all, 75% in the last year.
Rotman seems to expect 8.0/10
But I have a strong profile with good gmat n ielts.

Has any one received admits or interview invites with lower percentages ranging fro 70-80?

Pls. confirm, so that I can apply with confidence!

dude i have 60% agregate in btech dont scare me..... ur 70% is great rotman wants a gpa of 3 out of 4 in the final year which means 60% dats it dont worry....

dude i have 60% agregate in btech dont scare me..... ur 70% is great rotman wants a gpa of 3 out of 4 in the final year which means 60% dats it dont worry....

Again I'm not sure if it is relative grading :cry:

According GPA scale 80%=3, 90% = 3.5, 100%=4

no bhai its just first class means 60%... go n check on rotman website..do u really think it would be 80% cmon man who gets 80% in btech... may be from meerut university where cheating is rampant lmfao... i got the following info from their link:-

Bachelor's Degree Equivalent: Completion of BOTH a Bachelor`s (three-year) degree and a Master`s OR A Bachelor`s degree requiring four years of study (e.g. BPharm, MBBS, BDS, BTech, BEng, or BArch)

Mid-B Equivalent: 1st Class or 1st Div.; 7.5/10 from Indian Institutes of Technology; 8.0/10 from other institutions... 1st class or 1st div means 60% bro...

Had interview yesterday. It was very conversational and the admissions officer really seemed interested in getting to know me. Fingers crossed on decision.
