Today is International Women’s Day. Having just spent a year and a half participating in the MIT Sloan Task Force on Gender Diversity, this is a cause near and dear to my heart!

Here in the MIT Sloan Admissions Office, we are proud to see the percentage of women in our programs continues to increase. Each year we host a dedicated Women’s Week, giving prospective students the chance to learn about the experiences of our accomplished alumnae. We are also a proud sponsor of the Forté Foundation and their MBA Launch initiative. MIT Sloan Admissions is helping to lead the way towards gender parity, helping women achieve their aspirations and maximize their potential.

On May 2nd we are hosting a special Women’s Ambassador Day. Register to network with current female students and learn more about MIT Sloan’s unique culture and opportunities. We look forward to meeting you!

Hey guys, one quick question.

For those not invited for interview, when should we expect the ding? On the next days, or just on the final decision day, April 4th? Or some people receive now, while other people will receive later?

I really hope Sloan stop sending invites for online chat in the meanwhile.... =(

Yeah, sounds like nobody had been rejected yet. Kind of annoying. It doesn't sound like it's hard for them to decide. They're just rejecting everyone at once. Until then, we all still have hope!

It's interesting seeing the GMAT scores of people on the forum though, to know what people got that were interviewed. Some high scores in here.

Does MIT have only one hub city in india usually? I know that there is very little hope now but I am a little surprised by the low count of India invites.

hey all, Indian national living in Singapore – got invited to interview, and though it's in Hong Kong, I didn't think twice and booked my flight. I must say I'd completely given up on Sloan, this was a massive surprise. Profile: Strategy consulting for 5 years, Ugrad in the US, GMAT a humble 710.

Btw, for those who have been interviewed by MIT Sloan already – any tips?? I'm speaking to a few current students this weekend but any and all info would be v v welcome.
