hey all, Indian national living in Singapore – got invited to interview, and though it's in Hong Kong, I didn't think twice and booked my flight. I must say I'd completely given up on Sloan, this was a massive surprise. Profile: Strategy consulting for 5 years, Ugrad in the US, GMAT a humble 710.

Btw, for those who have been interviewed by MIT Sloan already – any tips?? I'm speaking to a few current students this weekend but any and all info would be v v welcome.

Yeah, sounds like nobody had been rejected yet. Kind of annoying. It doesn't sound like it's hard for them to decide. They're just rejecting everyone at once. Until then, we all still have hope!

It's interesting seeing the GMAT scores of people on the forum though, to know what people got that were interviewed. Some high scores in here.

said the rejection emails will be sent out on March 10

Anyone with a skype interview yet.? Or does Sloan doesn't have it at all.?
Indian applicant from bangalore waiting here. I see only interview invites in Delhi so far. Are people from Mumbai/Bangalore still stand any chance.?

Should everyone that would be interviewing on campus and has not heard back so far expect a ding letter on Monday?
I saw a bulk of invites on livewire for on-campus interviews earlier this week and someone has indicated that he/she only saw a couple of spots left. I am prepared to move on... just want to have a anxiety-free wknd finally

Just called admission office to ask about this Monday deadline. The lady said that there is no thing as deadline on Monday. Interview invites will continue post Monday according to her. I stressed that admission committee mentioned in recent chat that Monday is the day. However, she said there is no such fixed deadline, so it may not be true and one might see interview invites.

Well, we will see that on Monday either through sea of red or through further invites!!

Honestly, I cannot believe how disorganized is their communication. I truly don´t understand.

Is it really hard to keep communication uniform?

Sloan members on online chat have done this earlier in Feb as well. They had said that invites will start from 15th Feb till 1st March. But, we saw invites till 8th March. So, I have my doubts on anything that online chat representatives say!! Little optimist in me is happy with this doubt.

Besides, the admission system looks like a chaos, with every member communicating whatever he/she feels like.

Not sure if this is meaningful in any way, but for those who were asking previously about # of slots left, the online scheduler for March 14-25 shows one more slot left on the 24th for on-campus interviews. With that said, they could definitely be adding additional slots if they release another round...when I got my interview invite all of the slots were available so they must have just opened it up.

I have applied to 9 schools in total, and Sloan by far seems the most disorganized and unprofessional in its approach. It is bizarre to see that an M7 school has such basic communication issues.

I remember the chat said there will be "updates" on Monday. I think alot interpreted it as dings and WLs. Could also be interview invites. But let's see. Hopefully they give updates on what's actually happening with the process.
