In round 2, 28 people reported their HBS invitation on the MBA Livewire.

Stanford is 2 times smaller than HBS, so we can expect 28/2 = 14 people to report their round 2 GSB invitation on Livewire.

10+ people have already reported their Round 2 GSB invitation on the Livewire. In other words, they've sent ~80%+ of the invitations already?

What do you think of my maths?

Actually, there are ~40 R2 HBS invites on Livewire. so applying your logic, we anticipate ~20 for GSB. There are 11 now, so we just passed 50%.

We are almost half way through the month too - so keep eating your favorite food my friend - there should be ample invites to be distributed. :)


We have now reached 19 reported invites on Livewire. So according to this maths, there's a chance that all invites have been sent out. It sounds even more possible when you realize that only 14 people have reported their invite on Livewire for the Round 1... It really doesn't look good at all.

A few stats I've compiled on the invites reported on Livewire:
- Average GMAT of 725
- 42% US, 16% Latin America, 16% Asia, 11% Middle-East, 10% Europe, 5% Not diclosed

I'm always an optimist so I'm gonna bet - there are more invites to come! plus, the sample size on livewire is not big enough to yield statistical significance. :)

Hope you crushed HBS and Wharton interviews my friend! such a star to get invited to every one of those schools. :-D

We're just a tad over the halfway point. I think it might be easier to assume they've literally just sent out more than half of the invitations.

Might make it easier on your mind if you think that way.

And as I've mentioned a few times on this board before... they definitely DO send out invites right up until the last day. Some of my past clients have received them on the last day of the invite date range (and were ultimately admitted) so there is every reason to keep hope alive!

I am 28 year old male from Ireland. I work as an IT Architect for a major telecoms company. Post-MBA goals are tech growth consulting with plans to open my own practice down the line. I have a pretty interesting/unique story and extra-curriculars.

P.S. It does not seem it will apply to BSchool by itself but undergrads could be nominated for it:
