Hey guys! I also got my invitation today at 1:30pm EST. I wish you all the best! This process is full of surprises so don't loose hope! This forums are of great help since they let us share how we are doing and let us believe that there is still hope! Best wishes

Hey! No I am not that one! I did not report anything on live wire. I am an applicant from Latin America!

In round 2, 28 people reported their HBS invitation on the MBA Livewire.

Stanford is 2 times smaller than HBS, so we can expect 28/2 = 14 people to report their round 2 GSB invitation on Livewire.

10+ people have already reported their Round 2 GSB invitation on the Livewire. In other words, they've sent ~80%+ of the invitations already?

What do you think of my maths?

Actually, there are ~40 R2 HBS invites on Livewire. so applying your logic, we anticipate ~20 for GSB. There are 11 now, so we just passed 50%.

We are almost half way through the month too - so keep eating your favorite food my friend - there should be ample invites to be distributed. :)

We have now reached 19 reported invites on Livewire. So according to this maths, there's a chance that all invites have been sent out. It sounds even more possible when you realize that only 14 people have reported their invite on Livewire for the Round 1... It really doesn't look good at all.

A few stats I've compiled on the invites reported on Livewire:
- Average GMAT of 725
- 42% US, 16% Latin America, 16% Asia, 11% Middle-East, 10% Europe, 5% Not diclosed

Oh no, I hope it's just that people are extra diligent about posting this round as opposed to round 1. We still have two weeks left, and Stanford likes to send invites up and including the last day. Plus, I haven't seen invites for a lot of large U.S. markets (Boston, New York, D.C.). I also informally polled everyone I met at my previous interviews (all in the last four days), and not a single person who I spoke with had received an invite to Stanford yet. So I'm still holding out hope for more invites!

I'm always an optimist so I'm gonna bet - there are more invites to come! plus, the sample size on livewire is not big enough to yield statistical significance. :)

Hope you crushed HBS and Wharton interviews my friend! such a star to get invited to every one of those schools. :-D

We're just a tad over the halfway point. I think it might be easier to assume they've literally just sent out more than half of the invitations.

Might make it easier on your mind if you think that way.

GSB sent out an e-mail stating the interview invite period is February 8, 2016 to March 8, 2016. Good luck!

And as I've mentioned a few times on this board before... they definitely DO send out invites right up until the last day. Some of my past clients have received them on the last day of the invite date range (and were ultimately admitted) so there is every reason to keep hope alive!

Yeah, I just posted on Clear Admit. I got an interview invite about 45 minutes ago.

Congratulations and all the best for interview.

I see you got invite from HBS as well. Mind sharing your profile and post-MBA goals?

Hey, sorry for the delay.

I am 28 year old male from Ireland. I work as an IT Architect for a major telecoms company. Post-MBA goals are tech growth consulting with plans to open my own practice down the line. I have a pretty interesting/unique story and extra-curriculars.

Stanford Made the news today with a new Scholarship fund by Nike CEO:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/ryanmac/201 ... p-program/

P.S. It does not seem it will apply to BSchool by itself but undergrads could be nominated for it:
Quote:
Each year, 100 students, who are to be nominated by their undergraduate universities, will be admitted as scholars. The program, which will be fully funded by Stanford, will allow students to pursue an interdisciplinary education that spans Stanford’s seven graduate schools for three years.

Congrats!!! Lol based on our similar GMAT score and schools - my hope has been revived! Though I do understand it really shouldn't be the basis as our backgrounds could be completely different...
