How long does it take to reflect a reference letter as submitted? My recommender said he submitted it but I still see the status as notified after a few hours.

I got an email from Stanford immediately after one of my recommender sent his. (I was sitting in his office)

2 more days till R1 deadline!
I have decided that this year, I'm skipping the app at Stanford...have had some crazy time at work, and unfortunately, have not had time to prepare...

Applied, but I am worried that I have "too much" work experience (8 years at matriculation) and my GPA too low for GSB. We shall see...

I've submitted my application and my WE came to 10 years! I even had to add additional experience in the "Additional Info" sector because I couldn't fit it all in the professional experience section - only 8 employers were allowed. In my industry, its normal to have a bunch of unpaid internships, and I worked quite a bit during college. So yeah, I definitely worry that I will overwhelm the reader. I may have just donated $275 to Stanford

I unsubmitted my application twice this morning. Was convinced I had made a mistake somewhere. Glad to have still made Round 1.

I'm trying not to look at the application again.

R1 is done! For some reason, submitting the GSB app gave me more butterflies than any of the other previous ones. It's like sending a tiny piece of your soul away to Palo Alto.

Good luck to all the applicants!

All the best to those who have submitted applications for R1.

I hope to make it at least for R2...! Eagerly waiting for the good news from you all.

reapplying :) But I noticed something weird - my application proof doesn't show an essay, transcript, or resume filename like it did last year.

I can't post the screenshots for 5 days. Now I know I'm not an idiot and didn't upload these (I checked about 50x over), and I know that Stanford wouldn't let me submit my application without these files. So what's the deal? Anyone else noticing this? Should I email admissions regarding this? Luckily all 3 are invisible so that makes me significantly less concerned.

Up until yesterday, Stanford was showing a message on home page of applicant login that the uploads won't be visible but applicants need not worry because if you were able to submit the application that means that your uploads were succesful.

So, how many Indians applying to Stanford in round 1 and how many planning on applying in round 2?

As Souvik pointed out, Stanford thread is awfully quiet. Lets get some conversations going.
