This is not true, you do need to send your official transcript before your application is considered complete. It was on the application Posted from my mobile device
Check the screenshot below and mail the school yourself if you think it is "not true".
Also, even when I received an admit it wasn’t necessary to send the official transcript so no need to worry about that.
Note Regarding Transcript Submission (Academic History Section): Transcript submission is a two-step process:
• Step# 1 - You must upload copies of official transcripts (from all colleges or universities attended) on university letterhead into the Academic History section of the application.
Print-outs from online student portals, screenshots, and photographs of transcripts are not acceptable. Scanned copies of official transcripts and PDF documents are acceptable. Failure to upload acceptable forms of transcripts will result in significant delays in application review.
• Step#2 - After you submit your application and have received your 10 digit USC ID number, you must submit (by mail, courier, or electronic service) official transcripts from all institution(s) directly to USC. For more detailed information, please review the Admissions Requirements website here.
