Anyone have an idea what the acceptance rate is after interviewing? I'm American if that matters.
Hi Buck,
Owen's acceptance rate from past years is >40%. If you assume that they interview about 60-80% of all applicants, then we can conservatively say that, after interview, your odds of acceptance will be higher than 50%. In fact, your odds are probably sitting closer to 70%, depending on the selectivity of the admissions committee with regards to interview invites.
But, the above is just a by-the-numbers approach. Did your interview go well? Do your GPA and GMAT score fit within their median? Did your essays create a narrative that supports your overarching goal? All of these factors will be important.
Now, for the bright side: They invited you to interview! That means they clearly liked your profile, and believe that you would be a good fit! Best of luck as you look forward to March 8th!
