I received an email for an invite with a link to schedule an appointment.....I think I got the invite early since I am attending Discovery Weekend and will interview then.

Did you hear back about your interview? Normally the turnaround is quick for Vandy. I applied on the 6th and got my interview invite on the 10th.

Hi, Yes, I heard back on the 18th after applying on the 9th.

Anyone have an idea what the acceptance rate is after interviewing? I'm American if that matters.

Hi Buck, Owen's acceptance rate from past years is >40%. If you assume that they interview about 60-80% of all applicants, then we can conservatively say that, after interview, your odds of acceptance will be higher than 50%. In fact, your odds are probably sitting closer to 70%, depending on the selectivity of the admissions committee with regards to interview invites. But, the above is just a by-the-numbers approach. Did your interview go well? Do your GPA and GMAT score fit within their median? Did your essays create a narrative that supports your overarching goal? All of these factors will be important. Now, for the bright side: They invited you to interview! That means they clearly liked your profile, and believe that you would be a good fit! Best of luck as you look forward to March 8th!

I appreciate the response! my gmat is a little low but within range. I feel very strongly about my application, recommendations, and interview. I believe a crafted a good story that made sense for my long-term goals.

Hello everyone, Is there anyone else who is yet to receive an interview invite or a reject for Round 2 application?

Are decisions coming out early for round 2? i was told we would hear march 7th or 8th, but on here and clear admit there is someone claiming they got an acceptance today.

I saw similar notifications for Darden and tepper. I don't know if they're valid, or potentially people logging late round 1 decisions without fixing the date. They could also be WL admits. I expect to hear at the deadline.

The Owen admissions team at Discovery Weekend said under no circumstances are decisions release prior to deadline so I believe they are old posts from previous round. Goodluck
