Just over a week left for the first deadline! Hope the applications are all ready!!

Just found out that for Wharton recommenders have to type in the essay in a box as opposed to uploading a document. So it anyway can’t be more than 300. My recommender had to cut down a few of his words.

Yeah. Can’t exceed word limit anywhere. Haven’t seen what recommenders see. But it’s best to adhere to the word limit

Yeah, my recommender thought 3/4 words up won’t matter but he had to cut them down ultimately.

I think I saw a video where they tell we can collaborate with other schools in the university. Good question to ask on their webinar!

Wharton recommendation questions have a 7500 character limit for each question. Adcoms mentioned this in one of the sessions. So recommenders can definitely go a little over the recommended word count but obviously you dont want them to submit 500 word responses to each question when the recommended word limit is 300 words The Adcom said that recommenders can submit recommendation answers they have submitted to other schools in a single text box and just type see above for answer in other text boxes they said they understand that recommenders may not have time to write different answers so wharton allows for them to just copy paste their recommendation for other schools in one of the text boxes and the adcom will glean whatever information is necessary from the recommendation even if the answers arent tailored to the questions asked
