The Admissions Committee will release interview invitations on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 by 5:00 pm (EDT)

So in the activity section for the brief description do we have to put a description of thee organisation or description of our involvement?

put a little bit of both. It’s mainly of organization as mentioned there. Basically an idea of what you do

Hi folks, had a quick question. I am expecting a promotion in the next couple of days (hopefully before the Wharton interview results).

However it may be cutting it close to the 27th date. Wanted to check if you think it would be worthwhile shooting the Adcom a mail with this news? Will it help my chances, especially given it is quite late?

It will honestly not change anything. They have most probably evaluated almost all, if not, all the candidates by now. If they don’t like your profile + application sans the promotion right now a promotion suddenly isn’t going to change that, imho.

there’s no harm in informing them about this. It won’t change a lot. And can’t be sure that they’ll even consider it or notice it. But still, no harm in updating them about it.

Hi, does someone knows if the email received by Wharton says "check the portal", then it would be a ding and the only way to get invited to an interview is if the email received states the invitation?

Take this with a grain of salt, but I looked back in my email (2019), and I got an email that specifically invited me to interview along with the potential TBD times along with links to register for the times.
