Can international students get student loan from the college without any US cosigner? Can someone please share their insights on this.
I think this kind of loan is offered only at elite schools such as Harvard. For sure, this is not offered by Kelley, the case with most of the schools in the US.
Most of the regulated lenders in the US require a co-signer who should be either a citizen or a permanent resident. Only some niche international lenders such as
Prodigy and MPower offer loan loan with co-signer and collateral. However, their interest rate will be closer to the rates prevalent in your home country rather than to the rates in the US.
