bb,
Can you explain the highlighted part, please? Top 2 programs means what, actually?
Thanks for the cooperation.
bb
Hi. It depends. Schools have several types of aid and several levels of considerations.
First of all some have merit and others have need-based aid and some have both.
The top 2 programs only have need-based aid.

Usually, there is an aid form you have to fill out that is used to determine your aid eligibility and options. However, schools may have a question about your story if they don't match... and at that point not only your eligibility but your admission may be in question.... at the same time, it is not uncommon for real-estate firms/trusts to be cash poor.

Hello all!

When schools review your need for financial aid, do they consider what you wrote in your essays/applications?

I write about my bank account and owning real estate, etc. (because it's relevant to the narrative, not because I'm bragging). Will making statements about my assets lead the school to conclude that I don't need aid? (because I do)

Thanks everyone
