Hi everyone,
I hope you are all keeping safe and well around the world. My name is Suraj, and I have recently received an admit from London Business School for the MBA Class of 2024 following my R1 application.
This comes after I went through a GMAT/MBA application journey filled with frustration and anxiety, and with several moments where I had almost quit. My aim is to help future candidates who may feel that their MBA aspirations are beyond them, just as I did a few months ago. Specifically, I can share insights on any of the following areas:
GMAT: I took the GMAT twice (700 | Q46 | V40 and 690 | Q49 | V35), and can help with topics such as best resources to prepare, Online vs In-person GMAT, retaking strategy, mock tests/error logs etc.
Application process: My MBA story, how I approached recommenders, extra-curricular activities that can add value, how to approach student outreach etc.
Interview: I have interviewed with LBS and Cambridge Judge and can share my thoughts on best ways to prepare
Motivation: As I have felt first-hand, the GMAT and MBA journey tests you in many different ways, not least your ability to rise above self-doubt and disappointment. I would love to motivate, support, and reassure candidates to not let temporary struggles consume their goals/dreams.
If you’ve read till here and feel as though I can add value to you (no matter where you are in this journey), please DM me on GMATClub for further details.
Thank you very much, and good luck to everyone I hope you all achieve your MBA dreams and most importantly: keep believing and don’t quit!
Please Note: I am not an Admissions Consultant and do not want to replicate their advice. My aim is to share thoughts and learnings from my own experiences to help those on the MBA journey.
