I have so far taken 4 timed practice - the two free official ones (both at 710, q50/v36 and q48/v40, taken 3 weeks apart - slightly disappointed with the lack of improvement), and 2 MGMAT exams (620/660).
I am aiming for a score around 750. What should I do from here? I still have ~40 questions from the verbal / quant OG guide but have not started gmatprep yet.
Also on timing strategies in verbal, do we absolutely get 4 RC passages (I heard sometimes we get 3). I am a slow reader and don't want to freak out when I see an additional RC passage towards the end of the exam!

You've done really well on the two GMATPreps you've taken. If you can get a Q50 and a V40, you'll get a 740. That is, you're already capable of getting the score that you want (as long as the tests were taken under exam conditions). It might be better, however, not to put too much pressure on yourself to get that score, because exam day pressure has not been factored into your GMATPrep scores, and any additional pressure could lead to underperformance. Material: I'd advise you to take another 4-6 tests (the 4 Exam Pack tests should be great). You can also think about using Question Pack 1.I am aiming for a score around 750. It's normal to get 4 passages. Some people report getting 5, but I don't think it's very common. Make sure you have a good timing strategy, as managing your time well could help you deal with any unexpected situations.
