Hi all,

I am sorry if I missed the conversation, but are we allowed to use the Manhattan Test Simulation Booklet?

Also, for the physical whiteboard, is there a recommended type? Are we allowed to erase anytime during the test or is it only at the end of the section?

Thanks

What is the proctor going to check? i keep my laptop on a stand.. for more ergonomic sitting. Am afraid that the proctor will ask me to get rid off that stand.
Anyone who has given the exam can help me know what all will the proctor ask me to show? The desk portion in front of the cam is all clear. The stand is only behind the laptop and not visible through the front cam
Also, am unable to see any exam entry under "Future GMAT Online Exams". How do i view my appointment details?
bb please help
Anyone who has given the test can please let me know? I have my exam in next 2hours, but i donot see any link in the future exams section.

You’ll have a link exactly 30 mins prior to your test. Make sure to check FUTURE GMAT ONLINE section.

Also get your systems tested now so that it’s easier later.

I noticed that you have already signed up for the second online attempt. My profile doesn't allow me for a new registration post June 11th. I.e. there is no option for another registration. Could it because I haven't received my first attempt score yet and the registration link will be active after that?
I may not need to go for the 2nd attempt depending on my score (which I will hopefully receive today), just wanna make sure that I'll have this option.

Update: I've finally found some confirmation in writing on the GMAC website that GMAT Online scores will NOT be included on the test center score reports:

Source: https://www.mba.com/exams/gmat-online

I can also personally confirm this.

It seems to be the case. People who have not received their score have not been able to book so you will have to wait to rebook after your score comes in.

From what some users shared it depends on the proctor, mine did not ask me anything, I just started the exam, so I assume everything was ok.
If you have followed the guidelines you should not worry, I do not think a stand will be an issue, but you never know.

Best of luck!

Regards,
Pablo

I received my pre-physical whiteboard GMAT Online scores on Friday afternoon (and got the score email this Monday morning), but I'm still not able to register for a GMAT Online retake through my mba.com account, so it might even take a little longer than that.

mcelroytutoring I see, thanks. That makes sense. Initially I thought it may be only me because I had a failed attempt and they gave me a 2nd chance for the exam, that's why I thought they won't give me another one with the physical whiteboard.
I read that you received your score in less than 48 hours around midnight, which means that it's a partially computerized process to release the scores since I don't think they work at night. That's why I was waiting for score during the weekend, but nothing happened. I hope they release it today.

Thanks, makes sense.
There might be a 2-week restriction between attempts then.
When my first online attempt got revoked, there was a restriction on my new registration (because I had seen some questions and it failed during the test) and I needed to wait for 2 weeks for the 2nd try.

Just to clarify, although I didn't become aware of my scores until late Friday night, I in fact received them around 3 pm PST.

I think the "2-week retake limit applies to the Online GMAT" theory makes sense-if that's the case, though, then GMAC should just be honest and tell us about it.

Was it exactly two weeks, or maybe 16 days like the test center exam?

(I took the pre-physical whiteboard GMAT Online from 8:30-11:30 pm PST on Wednesday 6/3.)

Can anyone, who had booked the test after the announcement was made for physical whiteboard on 5 Jun, confirm if they took the test since then and are able to see an option for rebooking with a physical whiteboard after 11th?

Short answer: no, we cannot see the rebooking option.
Longer answer: read the 5~6 previous posts in this page.

Is it mandatory to have a chair/table combination while giving the GMAT ONLINE.
