I wish gmat had given more time between verbal and quant. That 1min switch is very brutal and hard to get through.

If GMAT now changes this policy, it will forced for provide retake to all others. If they dont wanna give retake, they will not change this policy.

Are we allowed to go out of the room in the 5 minute break? If yes, do I have to ask the proctor before going out?

Yes you are allowed to go out of the room. I didn't ask the proctor. I almost forgot to show the physical whiteboard. Do not forget.

Hey anmoldps,

Clear glass with water - YES
Bottle - NO
Requirements for the background - NO

There should not be anything within your arm's reach other than the essentials such as whiteboard, marker, clear glass, etc.

Hi,

Could someone please confirm that GMAT online has only 3 RCs? (and not 4) Saw quite a few debriefs mention that they saw only 3.

Hey, I got 4 RCs on my GMAT Online test but I don't think it is a mandate.

I got 4 passages on the online gmat exam. I think that 4 passages is a mandate. On every gmat official mock I got 4....

I got 3 in all the mocks. I am not sure if there is any mandate at all. IMO every test is totally different and the number of questions for each section can vary.

Question about GRE Online -
If I take the GRE Online, can I go into the testing center to take the GRE without worrying about the 21 day period?

I had two students take the online test today (Aug 17). Both experienced over 1 hour delays during the final review before the test begins (one actually had the test start finally, one it never started). Has anyone ever had a similar experience? Was this possibly an issue just today? Just a fluke?

Hi vaibhav1446,

There is a mandate. The GMAT must be as consistent as possible when it comes to the distribution of live questions.

It is very likely that the number of passages that actually count is 3. The extra 1 that most people see is just the experimental.

Hey

I tried that with my jiofi but it didn't work for me. Couldn't pass the system test. Try the system test at your location with jiofi but for a good and secure experience it will be better for u to use a regular broadband connection.

Yeah my network is quite stable and i have a very good speed too[ran the OnVue system check and it was fine].I have another question though - Can we have the datacard on the table while giving the exam or will the proctor object to that?

From Official GRE:

"Retesting

You can take the GRE General Test once every 21 days, up to five times within any continuous rolling 12-month period (365 days). This applies even if you canceled your scores on a test taken previously."

You will have to write to GMAC immediately stating the same. They will evaluate the scenario and provide you with the option to retake the exam on whichever date possible within the next 15days from the date you take the exam.
