Hello everyone,
I came across a problem when I attempted my online GMAT today (18/07/2021) and thus request some guidance. After successfully connecting with the proctor, I was told that my ID is not displayed on the dashboard, even though I had verified my ID a month back. I am attaching a screenshot for reference. The proctor then told me that without the display of ID I won't be able to take the exam. She said to contact the GMAT team as they have the control to display the ID. Once they fix the error, I am supposed to contact the Examity team to reschedule the exam. She reassured me that this attempt won't count as a complete attempt, and that most probably GMAT team would fix this issue. Now I have just contacted the GMAT support team, but I still have some concerns. I would really appreciate it if someone can suggest to me what else can I do at my end.
1. Besides
customercare@gmac.com, are there any other email IDs or phone numbers I can contact?
2. Did I commit some silly mistake because of which my ID is not displayed? Then how come is it showing verified? I tried to check the Examity dashboard again but I couldn't find any option of displaying or uploading my ID.
3. I used the Aadhaar Card, a government of India-issued card, during verification since my passport had expired sometime back in this pandemic. Has anyone else faced this issue while using an Aadhaar Card?
4. I know the proctor said that this attempt should not count as one, but is there any remote possibility that it does? I slightly worry because this is my 2nd attempt online GMAT attempt, and there is still a lack of appointments in incenter tests in my location.
Thanks & regards
Arjun
