As the title says, I got a 166/166 V/Q, which is 97th and 91st percentile, respectively. Should I bother taking the GMAT at this point? I am not sure if wasting the time and money would be worth it, instead of focusing on my essays and my letters of recommendations. Any insights?

Hey MbaConfucius,

Congrats on the great score! As long as the schools you are most interested in accept the GRE, I would not take the GMAT. Your score seems to convert very highly, and the GRE is certainly a legitimate and well accepted test.

As k1414 has pointed out, you really should not need anything other than your excellent GRE score. However, you might want to check with the experts here as well.
