You have inputs on HEC website: 10mn of presentation, about the topic of your choice. While a lot of people pick up random subject, I would recommend to present a business related subject or related to YOU, means YOUR application. Make the link, show you enthusiasm about it, and that you believe in your application/project.
If you like to tell stories, 6 slides should be great. If you are passionate about this subject, you will do it well.

As HEC says, be knowledgeable about this subject, enthusiast, train on your pace, and show you have the qualities the school looks for: passion, Innovation and personal skills.
A good strategy is to be able to give a flavor of your application with this presentation, thus enabling you to switch to the interview part naturally.

You have plenty of feedbacks on the web that can guide you. In the end, just be yourself.

Hope it helps.

I presented on a cafe startup I took and some real estate investments I made that turned out profitable. I remember my first interviewer saying at the start of the interview that we want something different from your application since we know a lot about your work/achievements and industry from that so the presentation helps us see a different side of you. I guess, sharing a hobby or personal initiative outside work sort of felt right and was something I could speak well on so that is what I went with. Although it was basic, with a few pics and graphs, I didn't request a feedback from the interviewers.

To be honest, I think there is no right or wrong answer to this. As long as your delivery is good at it I guess :)

You’re right. Delivery is everything. I see the interview as a two way conversation. It helps you confirm fit for the school and they confirm fit of you in the school.

A couple alumni of insead and Harvard told me the point of the interview is to make sure you’re application is truthful and that you’re m not a serial killer or super weird.

The email I got wasn't the official email from the admissions office but from the recruitment manager.
During the previous deadlines, there were updates of receiving the emails over a long range of time.

Clarifying just to calm the nerves :)
All the best!

Guys,
I haven’t heard back from HEC regarding my admit status. Does anybody know if the positive responses all come out on one single day or do they send them out for the next few days?

Hi Guys,

Can anyone provide any info about whether the HEC app is truly on a rolling admission basis? The next deadline is in Jan, but if I submit mine by next week, would I still be waiting to hear back till January?

Thanks!

Please let me know.

Hey, on the MiM application I was having trouble answering the question below:

In recent weeks, what business issue or news topic have you found inspiring? (300 words max)

Would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks so much in advance :)

Yes, you are right. The rolling admission with hec means that unlike the US b school where there are 3-4 rounds, he has several rounds (7-8). This means candidate do not have to wait that long to hear back. If the next deadline is jan then even if you submit it today , your application will be considered in jan deadline.
