I have observed that gmat prep and OG questions test limited concepts as compared to other prep questions. I have also read that relying on gmat prep/og questions for q50 is not a good idea.
I am unable to determine that how can I determine what concepts should I limit my prep to. When I find questions related to a particular topic e.g statistics I find that range of concepts tested is comparatively HUGE and I am not quite sure how useful will that be.
So basically I want to limit my practice and prep to what is relavant.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, The concepts remain the same. Only the way of asking a question and mixing concepts together will change that makes a question harder either in reasoning or time taking. I think, mastering concepts can definitely get you Q50 hoping that you do not make any silly mistakes and do not waste time on some questions. Some people knowingly skip questions which they cannot solve under 3 minutes.

If I master the concepts tested on OG/GPrep questions only, will that be good enough for a Q50 ?

Question is unclear. All the "limited concepts" that will be tested are listed in the official guides.
Now, this does not imply that the form of questions that will you will see on the test are necessarily listed in the OGs! The form will vary because the GMAT will test the same "limited concepts" in multiple novel ways. This point will be especially applicable for the higher level questions.
Testtakers should generally aim to practice at a higher level than is necessary. This will assist in boosting confidence for the actual test.
