Hi Gido,
There is a Verbal section on the forum - I suggest you check it out and read through the content.
https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-verbal-section-11/?fl=menuWhat worked for me is a combination of the following:
-
Manhattan GMAT [
MGMAT] Sentence Correction 6th edition (literally a bible for GMAT SC)
-
MGMAT Critical Reasoning, and if you want, get the Reading Comprehension
-GMAC
Official Guide (holy grail for official practice questions)
-memorize idioms using flashcards (you can find some on gmatclub or on
magoosh.com)
-Know tenses and parallel structure by heart - this is the most commonly tested on GMAT verbal
-Dedicate time. Learning verbal is not a quick process - allocate enough time to do LOTS of practice questions using GMAC
Official Guide and question banks from
Magoosh.com and Gmatclub. Review your wrong answers to understand why you picked the wrong answer, why the correct answer is right, and apply learnings to future questions
