Hi,

For the exact figure, you have to give me time as I need to do some data collection and analysis (and exams are going on).
For a ballpark figure, I would say between 35-45%.
Hope it helps. Let me know if you need exact figures.

Regards

Can you also suggest how many people are there with less than 5 years of work experience? Rough number will also do.

I know that min experience required is 4 years. So people with less than 5 years would be less. But just need to have an idea.

You can use these in the awards part as well, if you have been awarded for such achievements. While doing so, please prioritise based on which are the most important to you and why, when did you win them (school/college/office) and at which level (district/state/national). That way, you will be able to shortlist which ones you want to fill in. Thereafter, go ahead and enter them.

Try to understand the psyche of the adcom. Your learning from those competitions, which awards do you value most and why (the story behind it). The level at which you competed also matters. We have in our batch a girl who played cricket for India Under 19, and was a national level shooter (pistol). You can understand what she might have mentioned in the awards section.

I, for example, had mentioned some accolades I had won at work and also a debate competition (because it marked my comeback to the stage after a terrible performance and the jeering that followed had kept me away from public speaking for 5 years). So, prioritise. Mention the important ones. The ones that matter to you the most, and the ones that would make the adcom say "WOW".

Hope it helps.

Regards

Hey ruwithrdx

1. Do PE / VC companies come on campus for placement?

2. Can you talk about the International exchange program? like what is the duration, expense etc.?

3. ISB has a bidding process to select electives, is it similar in IIM PGPX as well?

If a person has a decent gmat score (say around 700-720), decent acads and a healthy work experience from a very good company but DOESN'T HAVE ANY EXTRA CURRICULARS. How to cover up those gaps while submitting the application?

1. I think so. Check the previous placement records. I have already shared the link earlier.

2. Multiple options: Paris, UK, Italy, Russia, South Africa, USA, Hong Kong, China. Fees included in PGPX fees, expenses and flight tickets you have to pay for. Loan easily available. Price depends on where you are going.

3. Yes. Based on your grades, you get some bonus bidding points as well.

Hope it helps.

Extra curricular is just another way of gauging your leadership skills. Compensate with leadership experience from your work. Even my extra curricular weren't that great.
