1. Involved in day to day interaction with Clients.
2. Was instrumental in delivering a major IT project while working at onshore. Single handed-ly coordinated with client Business & IT managers, vendors & other stake holders of the project.
3. Received several organisational awards (‘Star Performer’ award, ‘Spot Appreciation’ award etc.).
4. Completed 2 Insurance domain certifications: ‘AINS-INS21’, ‘CII-IF1’.
Reason for doing MBA: Want to move to Managerial and Project management roles in the IT industry.
Also, please suggest the GMAT score I should target for?

- Overall academics, and work profile (though from the over-represented IT pool, but the international experience helps) is decent. If all of your projects have been insurance-specific, that may be a slight issue, as the IIMs typically look at a broad base of client industry exposure. Still, it will not be a showstopper.
- You will also need to look a bit more carefully at your post-MBA goals. With ~10 years of experience in IT, project management is something you could get into anyway. Need to have a deeper goal and connect it better to an MBA.
- The GMAT score to target should be 720 and above, and this is primarily because the IT pool is quite competitive.
