I got admitted into Indiana University - Bloomington for an M.S Data Science program. Now. In Data Science, apart from using statistical tools to analyse EXCEL tables, a major part of knowing what to do involves having DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE. By August, 2019, I would've completed my M.S degree.
For example,
Lets say, in the future, I'm using Statistics for Health Care. The problem is, while applying statistical tools to analyze patterns in variables, I need to understand HOW TO ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. The issue with that is.. I have no experience in Health Care.
Will an MBA in Health Care help me ask the right questions related to Health Care?
I can say one thing. I don't have a PhD or anything, but Data Science can be applied for any field.
so will an MBA in Finance give me domain knowledge in Finance?
and I history of one backlog and an undergraduate GPA of 7.0, I intend to make the best use of my time in my M.S degree (I love the field that I'm going to be studying!)
I'll probably take up the GMAT in 3 years time, and if the same motivation I have today persists, then I'll nail the GMAT too.
The way I'll distinguish my application from others is that, I would've used Data Science for a lot of things. Like pattern mining in ONLINE VIDEO GAMES.
Is there a way I'll get into the Ivy leagues with such motivations and if I can execute these long term goals.
For example,

Thanks for sharing your profile. I don't think Ivy League is out of the question for you. You will really need to score high on the GMAT, like 730+ and make it clear why an MBA makes sense for you. You have a good story and a good strategy. I would focus more on the overall skills you will gain. The specialized MBAs may not have the impact you are looking for
