How important are Gmat scores post interview? Do they really play a big role in final convert? Is there a correlation between the score and your workex?

Dear gambit1992,

GMAT Scores definitely play a role in final convert.

Depending on the industry you come from, GMAT plays a major role.

For example, IT pool is THE MOST competitive pool in ISB applications. Hence higher the score the better are chances. In case an applicant is from an industry that brings in the diversity factor to the class (ex: Shipping, Fashion etc.) then above average GMAT score is good enough.

Hope that answers your question.

Please feel free to reach out for any additional quesries related to ISB admission.

All the Best !

As per the trend from other centres, tentatively by when can we expect calls for Bangalore?

My guess is calls will start on 20th and go till 24th.

I had my interview at Hyderabad on the first weekend. Noone was from my industry or educational background.

They got straight to the point asking me my varied experiences at different industries over the last 3 years and details about my current venture. They wanted to know everything about my startup, why MBA, is MBA necessary for entrepreneurship and my future plans with respect to my startup / entrepreneurship. They did touch upon the why ISB part too.

Hope you would understand people’s nervousness ✌?

Ending this.

siddreal, please do not act snarky to other users if you feel insulted.
ankurkushwaha3108, siddreal has every right to ask about this, though I ask him to temper it to one post. If no one responds, then understand that people do not want to take you up on an offer
