The key is to be persistent and persevere during the MBA program. There is lots of insecurity and lots of competition but the long runner wins the race.

Hi Jeffrey congratulations on your two admits!

I got admitted to Johnson last year while only did research on Darden and never applied.

Overall I think you should do your own research and follow your heart because the two schools are quite different. For example, regarding study method, Johnson has a bit of everything but Darden is a case method school. Because I have a mixed background of both traditional and non-profit work, Johnson seems to be a better choice for me because it seems to be more interdisciplinary and I can explore classes and lectures on topics I care about. For example, at Johnson I can take a concentration in sustainability which I care about no less than traditional business topics.

Besides, throughout the admissions process the Johnson staff treated me quite nicely and I really did like to enroll there (and I do enjoy the Ivy League association!). Anyway after this pandemic I've felt like every school has experienced their own struggles and what's happening now might not be what happened in the past for previous classes so do your research, get a feel for each school, and make your final decision (following your heart)!

All the best!
