Dear Supporters,
Thank you so much for your support of GMAT Club’s effort to help Ukraine’s war refugees. Your heart-warming response has been overwhelmingly positive and inspiring. GMAT Club users, moderators, prep companies, and admissions consultants have all pitched in to support refugees who were forced to abandon their lives, often leaving their loved ones behind. Even people who have crossed the border of Ukraine and are out of harms way are struggling to get their footing and figure out what’s next. I am glad there are organizations that are moving in to help with refugee needs and that people do care.
Thank you – here is what we have been able to do in 10 days with your help:
I wanted to thank GMATNinja who has come up with the concept, material, and provided inspiration for so many of us during the long night of GMAT. I still cannot believe we did it (Charles really did it – I just watched him). I also wanted to thank the team at GMAT Club for your support and help getting this event produced. Reached: Our Goal is to Raise $45,000 for Ukraine

Thank you everyone for your help! We have reached our Goal by collecting and directing $45,010 to 5 of the below charities. We are no longer soliciting donations but encourage you to support one of them if you would like to to support refugee effort.
Please consider supporting one of the following charities directly:
1. Caritas https://www.caritas.org/
2. Come Back Alive - https://savelife.in.ua/en/ this charity is based in Ukraine and provides safety equipment such as helmets and bulletproof vests to the Ukrainian army. It was established in 2014 and has great transparency and accountability.
3. International Red Cross https://www.icrc.org/en/donate/ukraine
4. World Central Kitchen https://wck.org/
5. Save the Children https://www.savethechildren.org/
We are in the process of disbursing funds to all of the charities and done with 4 out of 5. I am waiting on the bank to approve them as a Wire Transfer recipient to save on the transaction costs for the charity and then will be able to publish a report. We are ultimately sending $9,000 to each of the charities (this consists of $17,274 in funds that were sent and matched directly to many charities and of $27,736.00 that was collected by GMAT Club and is in the process of being distributed).

- • Collected $45,010 for 5 charities (some gifts were made directly to charities)
• Directly received $27,736 and have disbursed these funds to charities (attached are confirmation receipts)
• Charles and a number of GMAT Club members stayed up for 24 hours. Teaching, helping, and studying GMAT. You can watch the recording of the 24-hour session here.
• We built over 260 slides that were shared (and sometimes skipped
) over the course of 24 hours! • We have had 8 sponsors for the the 24-hour class – thank you for your generosity Admissionado, ApplicantLab, eGMAT, Cars Helping Charities, Gatehouse Admissions, mbaMission, Personal MBA Coach, Stratus Admissions, and Stacy Blackman Consulting!

Thank you for making everyone a part of this. I was watching War news from sideline and thought how can we help. but this platform gave opportunity to people like me in extending a helping hand.
In return we got 24 hours live session from Charles so, it was as we are paying for a course.
Thank you to the whole team and moderators who prepared the Slide and managed YT chat.
P.S. I am yet to complete all the missed session
