It would not be possible without everyone who has contributed and helped! I am very confident we will reach our goal by Friday, so the 24 Hour Marathon is 99% Certain (amazing news for everyone but 1 person)

Some people say one hour of teaching is as tiring as two hours of other work, because you need to be thinking constantly, so from that point of view, Charles is volunteering to do a 48-hour GMAT course, non-stop. That's an extraordinary act of generosity. I'll echo what AndrewN says above -- if Charles wants to make it a relay event, or take a break in the middle (or even if he just wants to invite guests on with him so he doesn't need to talk all the time), I'll be happy to volunteer to teach part of the course, or help out in any other way I can.

Hats off to the resilience and unity of the Ukrainians. Ukraine 🇺🇦 through it's courage is surely putting fear into minds of other such imperialist minds. Hope good sense prevails and we see an end to this senseless act of destruction.

Charles, many of us would gladly be part of your generous act, be it in any form or role or be it at any time.

This request is a tough one for an Indian to respect.

It is unfortunate what is happening to the people of Ukraine. But they are showing their true colors by treating Indians and other minorities who are there as students and business people. I would find it helping the people of Ukraine would be like a jew helping Nazis during WW2. VERY surprising that Indians, even those from India, are jumping on the opportunity to help. But it also speaks to their morals and the forgiving nature taught by their culture. Major kudos. It is one thing to support the site for the service it provides but same cannot be extended to those who threaten to kill, sell as sex slaves and beat other innocent people.

Regardless, best wishes to people of Ukraine. I can at least do that as a human and from what I have learned from my (Indian) culture.

You mean the bravest people who kill others because their skin tone doesn't match theirs? I'm assuming you're an Indian like myself, so couldn't help notice support for the Nazis that kill Indians in your comments.

Touched and deeply moved by the personal stories of our club members. War is disastrous and in the end no one wins. The way i see it, there is really no side but one side. The side we "all belong to", which is humanity. I can't even begin to grasp the situation but what i do know is a lot of innocent and peace loving people have been affected. I'm a poor and struggling student trying to achieve my GMAT dream for the last 3 years but i have donated whatever i can to contribute to the cause. This community has meant to much to me over the last 3 years and has kept me motivated through all my failures. My family moved to Canada just before war broke out in my country. We were deeply affected by war, but at the time we did not receive the same coverage or support and our pleas were ignored. We wished and longed for people to stand up for us. With that said i would never wish that on someone and vowed from that day on i would stand up so nobody would have to feel what i felt. I encourage my fellow club members to donate whatever they can even if it is as little as $1. Remember this is going towards a good cause. Nothing is more important than humanity.

Interesting opinion. That is what Jewish population did in 1940’s in Europe when they were marginalized, moved into ghettos and eventually concentration camps. They were peaceful and were not a threat to anyone . French did it too when 3 million Nazi troops showed up on their door step. A puppet government was installed in Paris. Had UK, USSR, and US surrendered, this would have been a very different world where people of color may not have even existed.... Surrender is definitely an option and depends on what the goal is and it depends on what other options you have. It is ultimately about the choice. Speaking to all my friends and family and hearing the general sentiment, giving up their country, identity, and freedom is not an option Ukrainian people seem to be considering at this time. I know it may be hard to imagine based on your one-liner. However, ultimately it is a democracy in Ukraine so people decide what they think they want to do and what they are willing to do - it is their life, their country, and their choice. I wish they had better options than to defend their home with weapons against an invader.

It is an option for Russia to surrender I guess while they have time….

What is going on in Ukraine is really tragic. I hope all the parties involved work out a peaceful solution as soon as possible.
What people there and Ukrainians outside of Ukraine must me going through is unimaginable. I hope my small donation is helpful.
