Congrats on your admits. The latest news from current students is the Tech PM roles have a lot of attention at Kellogg.

At the same time I can see how many would be tempted by the Yale‘s name. I feel outside of your plan to move back to Europe, Kellogg would be a stronger choice.

Any Kellogg or Yale students lurking? 😎

Thank you for your replies.

I have fallen in love with both schools, but I am also more inclined to Kellogg, though Yale's brand is much stronger here in Europe (most people I talked to have not ever heard about Kellogg).

Engr2018 is one of the Kellogg alums. Feel free to tag him here if you have any questions. There have been a few Kellogg discussions that he commented in too.

Please pardon my very (!) short response above. It was based on the two links in my signature below ...

... which contains a link to the GMATClub's ranking of FT MBA programs in the US ... and ... a link to the Financial Aid Consideration Curve, which might help assess the relative amount of scholarship you should be looking for from a school in a lower tier in order to make it reasonably competitive with a school in a higher tier.

Good luck to you!

I'd be curious as well... though I have noticed that some people day-dream sometimes and thus not always put a lot of thinking in these polls. Results have surprised me at times

Let me see if I can find one of the current Yale students and see if they perhaps can chime in. One of the challenges of course is that this first-year experience is probably (and hopefully) is NOT what you will experience and not sure how relevant it is, though the curriculum portion is likely consistent... I will ping a few Yale folks.

I am equally surprised! Kellogg is a powerhouse in MBB recruiting, and will also outperform Yale in Tech recruiting; the latter is not widely known to send students in Tech, particularly Tech PM.

Perhaps these people were swayed by the Yale brand being more recognized in Europe?

But in this case, the majority seems to be pointing in the right direction, which is Evanston, IL.

In my opinion both schools have the same outcome for MBB. Do pick one with less debt after MBA.

Would be happy if you have something to say on my comment.

Thanks for weighing in HESOYAM!

Have you decided where you are headed? Or you still have something in play in R2?
(congrats on your admits by the way)

Hello everybody!

Was admitted to two fabulous B-Schools! I would very much appreciate you helping me to make such a life-changing decision - select which school to attend.

What I want from an MBA:
- Stay in the US or move to Great Britain (i am a European citizen with permission to work in neither the US nor GB)
- Move to MBB or PM in tech
- Enjoy studying in B-School (in terms of location; clubs and so on)

Thank you guys in advance!

Did you make your choice yet? If so, what did you decide? I ask for the benefit of anyone else in the near future making a similar decision. Thanks!
