Even I am in a similar sort of boat. I have to decide between Marshall ($$$) and Mendoza($$$).

I’ve been admitted to a few schools but have narrowed it down to Kenan-Flagler, no money, and Mendoza w/40k per year. Plan is to pursue Operations. Goal is to be on the east coast after MBA, north or south is fine. I do really like Kenan-Flagler and the program, but the scholarship at Mendoza is extremely tempting as it will only be around 15k a year. Any thoughts are welcomed. Thanks!

Congratulations! That's a great scholarship at Mendoza. If you are US-based, I think it is worth taking the money and instead having to work a bit harder on the recruiting side.

I think UNC is a stronger program, better ranked, and will have better recruiting as a result. Mendoza is not as strong at UNC especially if you want to be on the east coast.
