Hey guys, got a waitlist in R2. From reading last year's waitlist discussion it seems like we would receive updates on our candidacy after the R3 deposit deadline (May 21). So it seems like a long wait, longer for those from R1.

Good luck guys!

Any understanding on how many folks are waitlisted? I heard acceptance rate from waitlisted candidates is 10% (roughly). And scholarship is out of question now?

No idea about the number of waitlist candidates, it appears the acceptance rate from waitlist has varied in past years.

From the McCombs decision tracker, I see 12 applicants got waitlisted in R2. Also, last year, 17 people got waitlisted in R2. That should give you an idea.

I believe the deposit date for R3 is 5/21. Should we expect to hear soon? Has anyone heard yet?

I have seen only one admit via waitlist on the tracker so far. I wonder when McCombs will release the rest of us still on the waitlist.
