Hey guys,
I have been practicing CR fir quite sometime now. Initially I used to get 2-3 wrong when I solved 15 questions at one go.
Unfortunately, now that number has increased 7 out of 15. I am not sure what am I doing wrong. I do not have the answers and explainantions to the questions I am solving. So am unable to identify why am I wrong where I am wrong.
I have solved almost all the questions in
OG, VERBAL Review and
MGMAT and I literally remember the answers to each of them
So practicing on those questions is going to be a waste of time as I know what lines to think on when I see a question .
I am not sure what should I do to improve my strike rate in CR.
Please assist.
Thanks.

SumitKumar1891,
Practising official questions again is not waste of time. You need to really get everything from a question. so what all should you look forward to in a question as a learning? here it is:
1. Variation in question stamp.not every questions write it very directly "which answer choice weakens the most?". Sometimes words are little twisted.
Have you seen a question that includes CONCLUSION in question stamp and not in argument?
Were ever fooled by support vs is supported?
2. Type of argumentsThere might be 1000 CR questions but not 1000 types of arguments. Look out for a pattern of reasoning in arguments. So pick just one CR question and try to find out one more CR question that is similar in reasoning. Remember that language and context would obviously be different and question stamp might also be different.
3. Type of choicesWhen you do a question try to categorise very answer choice. Please do not write OUT OF SCOPE for every choice. Once you do that you will notice that there are types of choices that are always wrong or are mostly used as wrong choices.
When you see cause and effect conclusion, then there are certain right/wrong choices. you need to be able to recognise them very quickly. Comes only with revision and practice.
4. TimeCR is one area that would first make you breathless if you are not damn good at reasoning and comprehension. But when you do ton of questions but with getting every bit of them, then time and accuracy would fall in place.
5. Explanations:Search the question on gmatclub or just google it and you should have links to GMAT club threads. Such threads should answer most of your questions. But if still in doubt, just post it.
Use "request expert reply" service. Verbal expert would reply to your question
If the question is not found on GMATClub then, you post it in relevant forum.
6. general adviceOFFICIAL questions are all that you need. Do all OGs, Verbal review, GMATPrep, Exam Packs, Question Packs and
MGMAT. It should be enough. If done once do them again.
Hope it helps
