This is a repost. I had posted it here before :
https://gmatclub.com/forum/need-help-in-analysing-my-enhanced-score-report-any-tips-or-guidance-227061.html#p1759753Got no replies, hence as suggested by an expert, i am posting it here
Hey folks,
I have taken the GMAT thrice till date and have purchased the ESR for each of one of the exams. I realize that many will feel that this is a total waste of money but I had to try everything to get better at GMAT.
Im posting my ESR's and any help on the analysis of these reports will be deeply appreciated (especially from the experts)
Although I have improved after every exam, I still need a 700 + score to have a shot at a good MBA school of my choice. Yes I have done the profile evaluations from various sites and sources.
I plan to give it again early next year or so.
One more thing : for the last exam : I had purchased
Magoosh premium ( i used it for roughly 2.5 weeks) not nearly enough. Will definitely use it again for my next prep.
I have also posted my kaplan scores, my gmat prep scores and
magoosh scores (just in case) I found kaplan quants too easy and kaplan verbal damm tough
GMAT Prep :
Exam pack 1
EXAM 3 : 720 (Q 50, V 38)
EXAM 4 : 710 (Q 49, V 38)
Exam pack 2
EXAM 5 : 710 (Q 48, V 40)
EXAM 6 : 650 (Q 47, V 33) -----> this was my first exam after a long break
Kaplan :
Test 1 : 730 (Q 50, V 41)
Test 2 : 700 (Q 50, V 38)
Test 3 : 720 (Q 51, V 34)
Test 4 : 720 (Q 50, V 40)
Test 5 : 690 (Q 50, V 28) -------> one of my last tests, 2nd last infact (too fatigued, i guess)
Magoosh :
Test 1 : 650 (Q 44, V 35)
Test 2: 630 (Q 45, V 32) -------> my last test
I found the quants in
magoosh to be really challenging, i must admit quant is my weak area (or atleast i enjoy doing verbal more, unfortunately it does not show on the tests
)
Any advise, guidance or strategy which i can base my next prep on will be great. I asked
Magoosh guys for help on this matter but they did not help (inspite of purchasing a premium
magoosh product, although they were very helpful otherwise). I will give a detailed review about
magoosh later.
Thanks in advance
PS: I have also given the default exam pack (2 test multiple times) for gmat prep and manhattan series (all 5 or 7 exams), but that was back in Nov 2015 for my 1st exam. I did not feel posting the scores of those mock tests were necessary. Frankly I am out of tests. But now I finally have enough kudos for the gmatclub test
