How will you sort out "daily timers point-1 point" and "Taking 30 timers in one day in competition-50 GOT Points"? I mean: if someone take 30 timers daily, will s/he automatically gain 1 point (out of competition) on the basis of those 30 timers?

So, should I take 30 timers, which gives 50 GOT Points in the competition+1(GMAT Club Timer Attempt (Up to 1 points per day)) timers, which gives 1 point per day?
I mean-should I take total 30+1=31 timers to achieve 50+1=51 points?

Hi bb I have a question.. The GoT event prizes are courses from the various test prep companies. The points are distributed by those who use the timer and answer the question correctly and put explanations that are really really good. But, when they are already good at the level they give good explanations for the answers, how helpful the winning prize (courses) would be of use to them? Don't you think someone who is really struggling but actively participating in the GoT should win prizes?

I think you’re bringing a great point. The people with the worst scores probably need the most help but I think it would be a really bad competition if we have rewarded the worst performers. The goal of the competition is to push those could do poorly to be better and to strive and even if they don’t win the best price and get the most points, they would still benefit tremendously from putting in an effort and doing their best.

PS. When you’re studying you not benchmarking yourself against someone else. You are benchmarking yourself against yourself from yesterday.

Makes sense. My current score is 580. I am going to take this competition as a push and really gonna give it a try. I will take another mock test after end of the month. Putting it here so that it is public. All geared up.
