Profile Assessment and Recommendation

Hello,

I'd like to request for a profile evaluation and recommendation for my application
in MSc Fin or MBA.

Here is my profile:

I am South East Asian who is now a citizen of New Zealand. I have
been living here for 7 years.


Education

2nd Year Applied Mathematics
University of the Philippines — did not finish,
relocation to New Zealand

2nd Year BS Electrical and Electronic Eng with Honours
Auckland University of Technology — did not finish, work full-time, bills, wrong
priorities, happy go lucky, irresponsible

BBus Marketing
Auckland University of Technology — Graduate

Exchange Student (1 term)
John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada

My GPA for BBus Marketing is 3.3.


Work

1 year PT — Regional Service Controller: supporting 63 stores across New
Zealand in re reverse-logistics

0.5 years PT — Admin Assistant to GM of Operations for the same company
(offered permanent role but declined due to departure to Canada)

1 year FT(ongoing) — Public Transport in Auckland as Information Specialist
responsible for creation and development all public transport timetables
and brochures in Auckland.

GMAT

I took a mock up GMAT and got 100% in Quant but did terrible in Verbal. I
got 680 overall score. My target is to get minimum 700 Overall.

Questions

1. I would like to transition into Finance and get into Wall St — would this be a
stretch? Would MS Fin be more ideal than MBA?

2. I was looking into Stern, LSE, LBS, and UCL -- would this be possible? What
other schools would you recommend?

3. Would MIT, HBS, Wharton, etc be asking for too much?
