Hello, I am a 20 year old undergrad pursuing an Industrial Engineering degree, math minor and Engineering Management Masters at a top 50 College in the US. I want to apply to deferred admission programs because of different competitive advantages described below.
GMAT: 700 (Q48 V37) AWA TBD IR 4.....
Undergrad GPA 3.7
Masters GPA 3.84 (Only two classes so far)
Graduation 2018
Internships: One 6 month internship at Fortune 500 semiconductor equipment company, One 6 month internship in construction company in the middle east and one 6 month internship at fortune 100 tech manufacturing company. (All this work experience still makes me eligible, I checked)
Nationality: Venezuela/Spain
Strong extracurriculars and volunteer experience.
Goal: transition from operations to consulting
Programs: HBS 2+2, MIT deferred admission and IESE YTP.
Specific questions:
-Effect of low IR score.
-Chances of admission / Should I consider Stanford or Yale? they seems out of reach
-Best way(s) to improve profile (retaking GMAT is not a possibility)
