Thank you in advance for taking the time to evaluate my profile, I appreciate it a lot.
Gender: Male
Age: 28
National origin: Middle Eastern (Iraqi). I have a pretty interesting story about my family escaping Baghdad when I was very young during the Gulf War and difficulty assimilating to American culture.
1) WE: I'm a California barred attorney and have been working mostly contract attorney jobs for the past 2 years (several contracts). I will have 3 years full-time WE by the time I matriculate.
2) GMAT: 710 (Q:47, V:40, IR:7, AWA:6) overall percentile is 91%
3) Education: BA degree from UC-Berkeley in political science in 2010 with a 2.8 GPA. JD degree from Thomas Jefferson School of law in 2013 and graduated cum laude (top 25%)
-low undergrad GPA is primarily due to terrible grades my first year. I have a big-time upward trend, with a 3.5 GPA in my last 40 units (120 total units). Also, my duties as a division-one baseball player made it hard to stay on top of coursework.
4) Extracurriculars: played Division-one baseball for 3 years at UC-Berkeley. Time commitment was vast, with a lot of traveling and community work. Member of Muslim Student Association in law school.
5) Certifications: CA state bar member; CFA level 1 Candidate (taking the Dec. exam)
6) Schools: McCombs, Darden, Ross, Anderson, Sloan, Fuqua, Tepper, Johnson
7) Application cycles: R1 for 2017 fall intake (possibly R2 for some programs)
8) Post-MBA goal: work in investment management, particularly in fixed income investment. Ultimate goal is to be a portfolio manager

I have taken Stats, Calculus, Financial Accounting, and Microeconomics (grades: A, B+, A, A). The last two were taken recently at a local community college.

Volume - On the lower end of the spectrum ; Quality - You need portray what tangible learnings you have gained from your experiences.
Extra Currciculars : It is competitive, but you need to showcase how have the extra curricular activities influence your personality.
Post MBA goals : Investment Banking is an achievable goal but you need to explain how will the MBA program supplement your knowledge about LAW to make you a successful investment manager. Basically, if you have definite answer to X+Y=Z where X is Current experience. Z is Short Term Goal and Y is what you will gain from MBA, then you have a good chance of getting into a good B school
Choice of Schools :Darden, Ross, Anderson, Sloan, Fuqua, Tepper, Johnson are all realistically achievable schools. You can also consider NYU Stern and Columbia Business School since they are best in the world when it comes to finance jobs. But you should give it a try.
Overall Profile : Can be portrayed as quite diverse and a value add to any Business school.
