Thanks so much for the feedback!! So based on your advice and a few I have spoken to ,here's my final list -

1) McDonough
2) Darden
3) Sauder
4) Foster
5) Scheller
6) Mendoza
7) Hopkins
8) Schulich

Coming to the point about waiting for another year, yes that would be an option however I will definitely apply this year and hope for the best with these schools. I am guessing this list should be reasonable for my profile, I have included only Darden as the majorly ambitious school.

Let me know your thoughts about this list!! :)

Looks fine, but eight is lot in the limited time you have. And I'm sure you would have weighed the factors (post-MBA career goals, geography etc.) important to you when considering these schools.

Thanks for the reply Anil. Yup, I agree !! I should be done with 2 by next week and was initially planning to do 8 but looks like I'm going to have to drop 2.

So here's my thinking-

1) Scheller v Foster , inclined more towards Scheller because they have a Business analytics concentration which I am keen on. But Foster has a higher ranked program, don't know how significant that would be though? Foster is ranked 27, Scheller is ranked 34 and both have similar acceptance rate of around 25%

2) To Darden or not Darden ??? Considering it's out of my league based on my current profile, I'm debating on this. The pros are that I have Penn, RV College as well as Eaton (the company I work in currently) alums there and I've heard they give higher weightage to work experience which is on the higher side in my case ( Would be 7 years at the time of joining)

Let me know your thoughts.

2) To Darden or not Darden ??? Considering it's out of my league based on my current profile, I'm debating on this. In the time you have taken to debate this- you maybe could have started your Darden outline. I'd give it a shot! Just decide to give up a few nights of socializing between now and the deadline and you will be on your way...
