Glad to join the GMAT club. I wanted to understand my chances at the different schools I'm considering ,here's my profile-
Nationality : Indian
Education:
Robotics Master's from UPenn with a CGPA of 3.61/4 (2010 graduate)
Bachelor in Engineering from RV College in Bangalore in India with a 72% (2008 Graduate)
Work Experience :
6 years as of Nov 29 2016, including jobs at GE Global Research, Robert Bosch and currently in Eaton Corporation.
All in core technical primarily mechanical,electrical and hydraulics domains
Extracurricular :
1) Core organizing team member of Startup Master Class which is an annual startup event and is one of the largest in India with a participation of 850 people
2) Volunteer at Make a Difference (MAD) which is an Indian non -profit organization primarily working with children in orphanages to ensure better career outcomes for the children
3) Company Cricket and Basketball winning team member at Eaton in two corporate tournaments
4) Winning debate and quiz team captain at the annual intra-company competitions
GMAT score : 660 (Q-48;V-33)
Target Schools :
Canada - UBC (Sauder), U-Toronto (Rotman) , Mcgill (Desautels), York (Schulich)
USA - U Wash (Foster), Georgetown (Mcdonough) , Notredame (Mendoza) , Georgia Tech (Scheller), Boston University (Questrom)
Europe : IE Business School ,HEC Paris , Alliance Manchester Business school
I wanted to get some more information if I had any chance in better US schools. GMAT score is low, but I am hoping my UPenn brand name would help in offsetting the score slightly.
Target Better US schools : Kellogg, Johnson, Emory, Fuqua,Mccombs ,Darden,Wharton
Target Better European Schools : INSEAD
Target Better India Schools : ISB
Let me know if there are other better schools where I might have a chance as well, any help would be great !!
