Hello,
Hi kb2312, thanks for your question. Let me address your questions below.I am a working professional in IT Industry with over 5 years of work experience.
My total includes 4 years worth of experience as an employee of Infosys India, ad 1 year with Infosys ,UK.
Although my designation is that of a senior Engineer, I have been working on the role of a business Analyst/Consultant for a Financial Services Client.
My Academic scores are as below:
10th- CBSE- 93%
12th- CBSE -73%
B-Tech -Computer Science - 71 % (honours)
I am primarily looking for admission in ISB, or some of the reputed names in Europe.
Planning to appear for my GMAT towards Nov.
Please if you could advise on the chances of my admission, along with the GMAT score I need to target.
also, if possible provide with the list of schools I should aim for.
I think you may be approaching this from the wrong frame of mind- not as helpful to think where can I get in- but more- which schools help me get where I want to go. You don't really say this- so it makes school selection harder- but for the ISB's you can see from their material that a score of about 710 will be helpful: https://www.mba.com/india/plan-for-busin ... iness.aspx but also you may present well at INSEAD with similar scores too. Do you want to work in a financial center- if so then consider going to a school in such a place such as LBS. If you are looking to work more in emerging markets, then lean to a program there. There is a lot more finesse to this than just saying what is the GMAT score to be considered at x school - so I encourage you first to think more about WHAT you want and need from an MBA and then look to schools that provide this.
